stayed at 2 other hostels in Bucharest but Popcorn Hostel was on a different level. Quiet, relaxing with a great patio area. Staff had different personalities but made a good team. Easy walk to the city center and several posla nearby.

Desks for better posture during computer work would have been nice.

noisy early morning disturbances

The self-check-in process was easy to follow and the common areas were charming and inviting. I appreciated the good music playing throughout the day and the hammocks in the garden were a good touch. The small PCs provided for internet access were a convenient amenity. The secure entrance system gave me peace of mind. Despite the slightly uncomfortable bed and lack of air conditioning, I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hostel.

With the metro or bus, you can reach old town in 15-20 minutes. the outside area with swing chairs and hammocks is great for chilling on warm summer nights. They provide secure parking for bicycles and have a luggage drop for longer absences. Solo female travelers can feel safe here.
